Learn to Meditate is a four-week online self-study meditation course that provides you with the foundation blocks to implement (and stick to) a daily meditation practice.

You'll learn that you don't need to sit for 40-minutes a day to unlock the amazing benefits of meditation and mindfulness. You'll realise that it's totally normal to have a monkey mind, but there are ways in which you can start to tame it. And most importantly, you'll be provided with a step-by-step overview of meditation and mindfulness, from what they are, to how they work, and of course, how to practice them on a regular basis.

I'm a Melbourne based Meditation and Mindfulness teacher and was lucky enough to be introduced to meditation when I was only four years old. 

While I lost touch with meditation during my teenage years I had the insight and the wisdom to return to the practice in my early 20’s and have been meditating consistently ever since.

But I wasn't always like this.

For years prior to my daily meditation practice, I struggled with anxiety, depression, insomnia and extremely low self-esteem.

I went on and off anti-depressants, I saw doctors, naturopaths, Balinese healers, Chinese doctors. I tried cleanses, veganism, fasting and anti-inflammatory diets. I did yoga, Pilates, tai chi, qi gong… you name it, I tried it.

Out of all of the different ‘healing’ methods I tried, returning to my meditation practice helped me the most. It was the one practice that allowed me to feel my feelings, listen to my intuition, develop my sense of self and heal the wounds that were keeping me awake at night.

After quitting my corporate job in 2014 I knew it was my calling to help others transform their lives with this amazing practice, so I began teaching regular meditation classes, courses, retreats and workshops.

And now I'm here to share with you all of the tools, techniques and skills that have helped me, and will help you to transform your life to a place of calmness, clarity and contentment.

so why should we meditate?

Our modern lives are busier than ever before, with every day filled with endless to-do lists, commitments, obligations and expectations. We are a society obsessed with constantly doing; striving for more, newer, better.  And as a result, we are experiencing greater levels of stress and burnout than ever before.

While sometimes it can feel impossible to switch off, deep down we know that stillness and silence is what our bodies and minds are desperately craving. We know that meditation and mindfulness will help us connect to the sense of calm we have all been searching for.

I've never meditated before, can I take this program?

Absolutely! This course is suitable for students of all levels of experience.
 

Do I need to have specific spiritual or religious beliefs? 

Not at all. This  meditation course shares secular teachings in a way that makes it accessible for everyone. All you need is an open mind and the willingness to begin.  


Is the program live or self-paced?

This is a self-study program that begins as soon as you register.
